I think I had more fun making the blessing dresses (not sure if I have any pictures up because it was pre-bloggind days)...just something about making something so little yet so beautiful. My mom made my wedding dress and I saved the extra lace. That's made its way onto both blessing dresses and the baptism dresses as well. It would be fun to think of something sentimental to go with the dress. Part of this comes from the fact that I always wanted an heirloom passed on to me. I'm the 7th of 10 kids so not much was left by the time I came around.sallyavenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11137441179448792543noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5167839113615827066.post-492144876455982852011-09-24T16:16:42.868-05:002011-09-24T16:16:42.868-05:00I love that you made your own baptism dresses. Also I understand the issues with sewing after the ones I am sewing for go to bed. There have been many items that have had to be resewn, changed or scraped all together becuase they were made after bedtime.
liZ
(simplesimonandco)liZ https://www.blogger.com/profile/17328657001255486792noreply@blogger.com
