Sowing While You Sew--Week 7--Reversible Apron

Daisy Chain Creations
So this has been kind of a crazy week for me with school projects due (it's the end of the 3rd term for us) and a camera acting funny (Any suggestions on a good beginner dslr for under a grand?).
This weeks project is a Reversible Apron.
Here are some pictures of an apron I made a couple of years ago.
You can have a lot of fun with this project, using a couple of different fabrics and a fun button.
For the 'C', I just cut it out of the fabric and backed it with some interfacing and then zigzag stitched all the way around it.  This would be something an older child, with more sewing experience could do to make the project a little more challenging.
Just a picture of all of the different fabrics used in this one apron.  These make great little gifts for friends and family.  Fill the pocket with art supplies and make the apron out of a dark easily washable fabric and call it an art smock.  Fill it with your child's favorite recipes and give it as a wedding present to a favorite aunt.  The possibilities are endless.
Hopefully, I'll be able to get a step by step up with pictures by the end of the week.

  1. As for a DSLR camera, I have a Sony alpha 330, I was told that it is the next best thing after a Nikon or Canon...
