Just wanted to fill you in on my new little adventure. I'm teaming up with Major Moma, who blogs over at Without Direction, to start a blog geared towards sewing for tweens. We'll be reviewing patterns, hunting down tutorials and passing on ideas to make outfits more tween friendly. It's that tricky age between cutesy children's patterns and stylish more adult like teen patterns, that we feel is sometimes neglected in the pattern world.
Hopefully, you'll stop on by and pass it on to anyone who might benefit from the experience we have to offer or have advice they would like to pass on. Really, it's all about the sharing of ideas about sewing for the age group.
So stop on by and let us know what you think. We have some fun guest posts lined up to kick off our new blog and then we have some great ideas for pattern reviews and tween styling.
When will the blog be open, Sally? It still says it is open to invited readers only. Can't wait to see what you have planned!
ReplyDeleteStacy, it is up now! That was my mistake as today snuck up on me. Thanks for your interest. ~Major Moma
DeleteI would love to follow it via BlogLovin' once you have opened it up! Or how do I get an invitation?
ReplyDeleteNiki, we are now on BlogLovin'! Come check it out. ~Major Moma
DeleteThis is such a great idea. My girl is still so young, but I think there's a huge gap in clothing at the tween age. It's such a tough time between too cutesy or just way too over the top skimpy. I can't wait to see what you two come up with!
